ESTHETICS

Skincare and Beauty Training

Our Beauty School builds students from the ground up in skincare, facial treatments, hair removal, makeup artistry, and client care. The curriculum is set up so you walk away with both the technical know-how and the professional polish that today’s beauty industry actually expects from new estheticians.

That setup makes a real difference for students juggling a lot. Whether you’re working full-time, raising a family, or balancing dual enrollment through high school or college, the mix of online theory and weekly hands-on training means you can keep moving toward your goals without putting the rest of your life on hold.

New classes start every quarter, and we keep class sizes intentionally small to protect that personalized learning experience. Seats go fast, so if you’re thinking about enrolling, sooner is better than later.

Hands-On Training Included in Your Tuition

You’re not just sitting in a classroom here. Hands-on training covers:
✔ Customized Facials
✔ Hair Removal & Waxing
✔ Makeup Application
✔ Lash & Brow Services
✔ Advanced Skincare Techniques
✔ Client Consultation & Treatment Planning
✔ Retail & Product Knowledge
✔ Professional Client Care
✔ Business Preparedness
✔ State Board Examination Preparation

Advanced Training Comes With Your Tuition, Not After It

A lot of esthetics programs will get you licensed and then nickel and dime you for anything beyond the basics. We don’t operate that way. Advanced beauty and skincare training is already part of what you’re paying for.

Students get real hands-on instruction in:
✔ Advanced Waxing
✔ Facial Treatments
✔ Eyelash Extensions
✔ Eyelash Lift & Tint
✔ Brow Lamination
✔ Microdermabrasion
✔ Dermaplaning
✔ Chemical Peels
✔ Microneedling

These aren’t optional extras tacked onto the program. They’re built in, so graduates leave with a wider skill set, more confidence, and a real edge in a competitive job market.

Starting With the Theory That Actually Matters

Before students move into hands-on services, they build a solid base in:
✔ Infection Control & Sanitation
✔ State Laws & Regulations
✔ Skin Anatomy & Physiology
✔ Skin Analysis & Treatment Planning
✔ Professional Ethics & Client Consultation

This isn’t busywork. Understanding why a treatment works, and when it shouldn’t be used, is what separates a confident esthetician from someone just going through the motions.

What Graduation Actually Gets You

By the time you finish, you’ll have a well-rounded skill set, real practical experience, and the confidence to sit for your licensing exam and start working. Whether your goal is a job at a medical spa, a day spa, a skincare clinic, a lash studio, or building your own business someday, the Institute of Modern Beauty gives you the education and hands-on training to make that happen.
