Institute of Modern Beauty Dearborn CHEMICAL PEEL CLASSES
Our chemical peel training is a 24 hour program, spanning over 3 days that teaches you the necessary theory and skill needed to safely perform chemical peel services. The course consists of educational training and hands-on experience to be sure that you understand the proper preparation, application, and post care needed for chemical peels. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certification validating that you are trained and certified to perform chemical peels.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The chemical peel course covers the following topics:
- Introduction to chemical peel procedures
- Session on the tools used for chemical peels
- Pre- and post-treatment care instructions
- Evaluating client’s skin to help decide suitable treatment approaches
You’ll also look at how different skin types may respond to treatment and what is typically assessed before a procedure. The training includes discussion on common skin concerns and how peels are generally selected in practice.
There is also time spent on understanding safety steps and what should be considered before and after a treatment session.
